On Tuesday, March 18, we welcomed a group of 18 visitors from the Johns Hopkins University School ofAdvanced International Studies (SAIS) to La Sabana University. The academic meeting focused on analyzingColombia from different perspectives as part of the Latin American Research, led by Dr. Albert \u201cJim\u201d Marckwardt, academic leader, and Mr. Joseph Tufo, logistics leader. <\/p>\n\n

Dr. Catherine Mar\u00eda Pereira Villa, Dean of the International School of Economic Sciences at the University of La Sabana, welcomed the delegation together with the Executive Director of Fulbright Colombia, Dr. GiovanniAnzola-Pardo. As part of their research in Colombia, Johns Hopkins students have interacted with representatives from the academic, diplomatic, public, private, and media sectors to deepen their analysis andenrich their degree projects <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Executive Director provided an overview of current collaborations between the United States and Colombia, introducing the faculty of the University of La Sabana and Johns Hopkins students to the different opportunities available through the Fulbright Program.<\/p>\n\n
