Fulbright Global
We are the U.S. government’s premier educational and cultural exchange program worldwide, created in 1946 by the initiative of Senator J. William Fulbright to broaden understanding between the United States and other countries. Throughout its existence, the program has provided more than 400,000 study, research, and educational opportunities to U.S. citizens and citizens of 160 other countries.

The Fulbright Program seeks candidates who are connected to the world and willing to multiply and share the knowledge acquired through their experiences to promote education, science, and culture.
In Colombia, the Fulbright Commission was established in 1957 through a bilateral agreement between both nations; our commitment to excellence and education has benefited 5,651 people.
68 years strengthening academic mobility between Colombia and the United States, with 3,373 Colombians who have brought their talent to the United States and 2,278 Americans who have enriched their experience in Colombia. We remain committed to education and the development of professional and academic profiles of excellence, promoting understanding and cooperation between both nations to build a more connected and prosperous future.
