Fulbright-Minciencias Fellow Makes an Impact in the Media as an Expert in Seismic Analysis
We are proud to share the remarkable journey of ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฬ๐ซ๐ซ๐๐ณ, a ๐๐๐น๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ -๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฎ, who has recently served as an expert commentator in various media outlets, providing analysis on seismic activity in Colombia and Venezuela.
Structural engineering in the service of the country: He solidified his expertise in structures during his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Florida International University (FIU).
In addition to his academic achievements, Rafael was honored by the Colombian Consulate in Miami for his ongoing support of and leadership within the Colombian community in Florida.
As he prepares to complete his post-degree academic training in the United States, we welcomed Rafael to our offices in Bogotรก to celebrate the completion of this important phase and discuss the impact he will continue to make as part of the network of Fulbright scholars and alumni.
